GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit
PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THIS SWEEPSTAKE
TERM: The Contest will run and accept entries from April 15, 2008 through to July 31, 2008 @ 11:59:59 P.M. Prize will be drawn on the 3rd day of the August @ NOON PACIFIC TIME.
Prize - The prize of $500.00 web store credit will be awarded in the form of an online coupon code, and is valid for 3 months from the date drawn. Example: if the draw date is July 3rd, 2008 the code is good through to October 3rd, 2008 for a one time use. Once the coupon code has been used it will be automatically deleted from our system.
ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning will be determined by the number of entries received.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS SWEEPSTAKE:
1(a) Entries for the sweepstake. When you shop at GiftShopOne.com during the sweepstake run time you are automatically entered into the $500.00 Web Store Credit Sweepstake. You will receive one entry for every $50.00 that you spend, not including shipping, coupons or taxes. This entry to GiftShopOne.com's $500 Web Store Credit Sweepstake is considered to be a thank you for your business. You are receiving your ordered product for your purchase and returns will result in loss of entry or entries. You must agree ("opt-in") to receive Email regarding GiftShopOne.com sales, promotions
and new arrivals of product or product lines.
(b) GiftShopOne.com's system will keep track of all purchases per shopper. This will allow shoppers to get entries from multiple purchases. Example: a shopper makes a purchase of $75.00 on their first visit, they receive one(1) entry, and have a remainder of $25.00. Now this same shopper returns and makes a purchase of $30.00, they will now have two(2) entries with a new remainder of $5.00. These examples do not include use of coupons, shipping fees or taxes.
LIABILITIES: GiftShopOne.com is not responsible for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects in part or whole, delays in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for any technical or non-technical network, telephonic, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate or partial transmission of or failure to receive entry information by GiftShopOne.com on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any web site or any combination thereof. GiftShopOne.com is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Sweepstake, or for mail-in entries that are lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, altered, illegible or postage-due. All entries become GiftShopOne.com's property and will not be returned. GiftShopOne.com reserves the right to cancel
temporarily or permanently the electronic method of the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit entries if it becomes technically corrupted.
DISQUALIFICATION: All of your entries in this and all other contests or sweepstakes sponsored by GiftShopOne.com in the past, present, or future, will be automatically disqualified without notice or recourse if you promote the Contest through unsolicited commercial Email, multiple repetitive postings to UseNet Newsgroups or even one posting to inappropriate UseNet Newsgroups or any other violation of ACCEPTABLE USE. Any violation of such ACCEPTABLE USE will prevent you from entering any future contest sponsored by GiftShopOne.com and we will automatically revoke your membership in GiftShopOne.com's web site.
All of your entries will be disqualified, at the sole discretion of GiftShopOne.com, if you attempt (i) to enter the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw through any means other than as described in these Official Rules; or (ii) to disrupt the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw, circumvent the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, or in any way tamper with the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw. If either of the above occurs, GiftShopOne.com has the right to remedy any such action, disruption, or circumvention, and to seek damages from you to the fullest extent permitted by law.
ELIGIBILITY: All legal Canadian & U.S. residents(excluding Quebec) residing in Canada or the Continental 48 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years or older at the closing date of the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw may participate in this GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw, or if you are under 18 years of age, you must have parental/guardian consent to enter the contest. By entering this the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw you represent to GiftShopOne.com that you are either at least 18 years of age or have consent from a parent/guardian. Employees of GiftShopOne.com and its immediate families and members of their households are not eligible to participate in this the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw. By registering to win the prize, the winner grants GiftShopOne.com permission to use his/her name (including screen name) and likeness for advertising and future promotion purposes without additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). Unaccepted prizes may not be awarded. This the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store
Credit Draw is subject to these complete and Official Rules.
SELECTION OF WINNERS. Winners will be selected in an electronically randomized manner on the afternoon of the 3rd day of August, 2008 for the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw. The winner will be notified at the day of the drawing, and has 7 days to contact GiftShopOne.com regarding their prize. GiftShopOne.com reserves the right to modify scheduling of the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw without prior notice. If the judges determine in their sole discretion that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the giveaway or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the sweepstake, the judges reserve the right to void the entries at issue, and/or terminate the sweepstake and conduct a random drawing to award prize(s) using all eligible entries received as of the termination date. Limit one prize per person. Winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility within 3 days of notification attempt. Failure to return the affidavit in the time noted will
result in disqualification of the entry and the random selection of an alternate winner. GiftShopOne.com may require winners to provide proof that they are the authorized account holders of the e-mail addresses used to enter the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet service provider, online service provider, or organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the e-mail address. Any winner who does not comply with the Official Rules will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. Return of any prize or prize notification as "undeliverable" will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.
NOTIFICATION: Prizewinners will be notified by e-mail sent to the e-mail address on the GiftShopOne.com account, and GiftShopOne.com is under no obligation to notify winners by any means other than e-mail. If a winner's GiftShopOne.com profile is no longer active, notification will be sent to the last known e-mail address. GiftShopOne.com is not responsible for notifications that are misdirected or not received because of e-mail addresses that are no longer correct. If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made during the 7 days from the first notification attempt, such person may be disqualified, with an alternate winner selected. Any prize notification or prize returned as undeliverable will result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner.
REDEMPTION: GiftShopOne.com will deliver the prizes as follows: All Prizes. Each prize will be emailed to the appropriate winner's e-mail address. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or cash equivalents are allowed except by GiftShopOne.com, who also reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable.
CONDITIONS: By participating in the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw, you agree to release and hold GiftShopOne.com and its directors, officers, employees and agents, and all prize suppliers harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw or any product purchased, or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy, whether suffered by you or a third party. This GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of GiftShopOne.com and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw or these Official Rules. All
decisions regarding the GiftShopOne.com's $500.00 Web Store Credit Draw, including, but not limited to, selecting winners, will be made by GiftShopOne.com, whose decisions shall be final. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes.
