Official Rules:
Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THIS CONTEST
TERM: The Contest will run and accept entries through 11:59:59 P.M.of the last day of each month. Prize will be drawn on the 3rd day of the following month.
Prize - The prize of $100.00 web store credit will be awarded in the form of an online coupon code(a new code is produced each month), and is valid for six months from the date drawn. Example: if the draw date is January 3rd, 2008 the code is good through to July 3rd, 2008 for a one time use. Once the coupon code has been used it will be automatically deleted from our system.
ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning will be determined by the number of entries received.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CONTEST:
1(a) Signing up for the contest. If you signed up for the contest on the GiftShopOne.com web
site you are automatically entered into the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw. You must agree ("opt-in") to receive Email regarding GiftShopOne.com sales, promotions
and new arrivals of product or product lines.
AND/OR
(b) By mail. You may also enter by hand by printing your complete name, address, e-mail address, age, and the words "Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit" on a 3" x 5" piece of paper. Mechanically reproduced entries are not permitted. Mail your entry to: Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit #18 2395 Pleasant Valley Rd. Armstrong, B.C. Canada V0E-1B2. You may mail as many entries as you wish, but only one entry may be included in each outer mailing envelope. Mail entries must be postmarked by the 25th of the month and received no later than the last day of the month. Hand-delivered entries will not be accepted and if left at our office will not be entered in the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw.
Signing up as a registered GiftShopOne.com shopper. If you signed up as a registered shopper of GiftShopOne.com you will be automatically entered into the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw.
GiftShopOne.com is not responsible for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects in part or whole, delays in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for any technical or non-technical network, telephonic, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate or partial transmission of or failure to receive entry information by GiftShopOne.com on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any web site or any combination thereof. GiftShopOne.com is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw, or for mail-in entries that are lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, altered, illegible or postage-due. All entries become GiftShopOne.com's property and will not be returned. GiftShopOne.com reserves the right to cancel
temporarily or permanently the electronic method of the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit entries if it becomes technically corrupted.
DISQUALIFICATION: All of your entries in this and all other contests sponsored by GiftShopOne.com in the past, present, or future, will be automatically disqualified without notice or recourse if you promote the Contest through unsolicited commercial Email, multiple repetitive postings to UseNet Newsgroups or even one posting to inappropriate UseNet Newsgroups or any other violation of ACCEPTABLE USE. Any violation of such ACCEPTABLE USE will prevent you from entering any future contest sponsored by GiftShopOne.com and we will automatically revoke your membership in GiftShopOne.com's web site.
All of your entries will be disqualified, at the sole discretion of GiftShopOne.com, if you attempt (i) to enter the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw through any means other than as described in these Official Rules; or (ii) to disrupt the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw, circumvent the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, or in any way tamper with the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw. If either of the above occurs, GiftShopOne.com has the right to remedy any such action, disruption, or circumvention, and to seek damages from you to the fullest extent permitted by law.
ELIGIBILITY: All legal Canadian residents (excluding Quebec) & U.S. residents residing in the Continental 48 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years or older at the closing date of the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw may participate in this Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw, or if you are under 18 years of age, you must have parental/guardian consent to enter the contest. By entering this Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw you represent to GiftShopOne.com that you are either at least 18 years of age or have consent from a parent/guardian. Employees of GiftShopOne.com and its immediate families and members of their households are not eligible to participate in this Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw. By registering to win the prize, the winner grants GiftShopOne.com permission to use his/her name (including screen name) and likeness for advertising and future promotion purposes without additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). Unaccepted prizes may not be awarded. This Monthly $100.00 Web Store
Credit Draw is subject to these complete and Official Rules.
SELECTION OF WINNERS. Winners will be selected in an electronically randomized manner on the afternoon of the 3rd day of the following month for the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw. The winner will be notified at the day of the drawing, and has 7 days to contact GiftShopOne.com regarding their prize. GiftShopOne.com reserves the right to modify scheduling of the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw without prior notice. If the judges determine in their sole discretion that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the giveaway or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the giveaway, the judges reserve the right to void the entries at issue, and/or terminate the giveaway and conduct a random drawing to award prizes using all eligible entries received as of the termination date. Limit one prize per person. Winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility within 3 days of notification attempt. Failure to return the affidavit in the time noted will
result in disqualification of the entry and the random selection of an alternate winner. GiftShopOne.com may require winners to provide proof that they are the authorized account holders of the e-mail addresses used to enter the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet service provider, online service provider, or organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the e-mail address. Any winner who does not comply with the Official Rules will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. Return of any prize or prize notification as "undeliverable" will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.
NOTIFICATION: Prizewinners will be notified by e-mail sent to the e-mail address on the GiftShopOne.com account (or the e-mail address on the mail-in entry when applicable), and GiftShopOne.com is under no obligation to notify winners by any means other than e-mail. If a winner's GiftShopOne.com profile is no longer active, notification will be sent to the last known e-mail address. If a prizewinner entered by mail, the notification will be sent to the address that was printed on the 3"x 5" piece of paper. GiftShopOne.com is not responsible for notifications that are misdirected or not received because of e-mail addresses or mailing addresses that are no longer correct. If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made during 5 business day from the first notification attempt, such person may be disqualified, with an alternate winner selected. Any prize notification or prize returned as undeliverable will result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner.
REDEMPTION: GiftShopOne.com will deliver the prizes as follows: All Prizes. Each prize will be emailed to the appropriate winner's e-mail address. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or cash equivalents are allowed except by GiftShopOne.com, who also reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable.
CONDITIONS: By participating in the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw, you agree to release and hold GiftShopOne.com and its directors, officers, employees and agents, and all prize suppliers harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw or any product purchased, or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy, whether suffered by you or a third party. This Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of GiftShopOne.com and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw or these Official Rules. All
decisions regarding the Monthly $100.00 Web Store Credit Draw, including, but not limited to, selecting winners, will be made by GiftShopOne.com, whose decisions shall be final. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes plus shipping and handling costs.
